Practical guides to using NeoWork. For account-specific questions, contact our support team.
What NeoWork does
NeoWork helps enterprises redesign roles for work with AI and assess candidates through realistic, AI-integrated Work Samples. Your team uses the web platform to define roles, build Work Samples, invite candidates, and review their results.
Candidates complete the work sample in a separate downloadable desktop app. Reports describe demonstrated skills and results objectively; your team makes the workforce decision.
Define or redesign a role
Start with a saved role, upload a job description, or describe a role from scratch in the workforce conversation. Explain the work the person will own, the outcomes you need, and how AI fits into that work. Review the proposed responsibilities and required skills with the agent.
You can use the resulting role when creating a work sample. If you already have a job description, the work sample flow can also use it without completing a full role redesign.
Create and review a work sample
Open Work Samples and choose New work sample. Select an existing role or provide a job description, then work with the agent to define the problem and generate a realistic work sample. Review the task, resources, and scoring criteria before using the work sample with candidates.
The work sample editor separates saved drafts from published versions. Saving a draft does not publish it. Check the version you intend to use before inviting candidates. Resources should support the task; a task that contains enough information can work without separate resource files.
Invite candidates and start the work sample
Open the work sample and use Invite candidates. Check the intended work sample and candidate email addresses before sending. Candidates should follow their invitation instructions and use the separate NeoWork desktop app to complete the work sample with AI. The enterprise web platform is where your team manages the work sample and reviews results.
If a candidate cannot find the invitation, ask them to check spam and verify the email address used. Review the invitation status and available resend or deadline actions in the work sample. For an access or delivery problem that remains unresolved, contact support with the error and approximate time; the support assistant cannot resend invitations or inspect candidate accounts.
Understand work sample reports
After a candidate completes the work sample and evaluation is available, open their results in NeoWork. AI Quotient describes the result of the work, while Human Competency describes how the candidate worked. Read the evidence alongside scores and compare it with the role's needs.
Reports describe demonstrated levels; they do not recommend whether to hire someone. Earlier reports can use an older competency framework, so check the framework shown before comparing reports. The support assistant cannot access a candidate's report, verify evaluation progress, or explain a specific account's score without human support.
Plans, usage credits, and billing
Subscriptions determine plan features. Usage credits are a separate shared balance used for platform activity; reports are not billed as a fixed number of credits per report. Subscriptions do not automatically refill the credit balance each month. Consult your organization's billing settings for the current balance, plan, and available credit packs.
Mark-as-Hired records an accepted offer and can trigger the separate success fee under your agreement. Check the current terms and billing details before confirming. Ask your organization's billing administrator or support about charges, invoices, refunds, or account-specific balances. The support assistant cannot view or change billing records, take payments, or promise a refund.
Reach your team's Slack support channel
NeoWork uses Slack Connect for company support: your team stays in its own Slack workspace and communicates with NeoWork in a dedicated shared channel. Open Customer Support to find your organization's available Slack connection or contact option. You can contact a person without first completing a bot conversation.
A channel link does not grant membership. A Slack Connect invitation must be accepted, and your Slack administrator may need to approve the connection or add you to the channel. When Connect Slack is available, a company owner or administrator with a verified account email can request a directed invitation in the panel. A channel may still be preparing; check its status before requesting the invitation. The invitation may appear only for the initiating account, and a copied link is not guaranteed: the initiating administrator can check Slack or their verified email. A pending invitation or approval is not an established connection. If the button is unavailable, a manually configured invitation has expired, or a channel cannot be opened, contact NeoWork support or your company's Slack administrator. The assistant cannot confirm your Slack membership, send an invitation, or create a support ticket. Use the copy option to bring a question summary to your conversation; chat is not automatically sent to Slack.
Share useful details when something goes wrong
Note what you were trying to do, what happened instead, the approximate time, and any displayed error code or request ID. If the product offers Copy details, use it and review the text before sharing. Describe the page and the steps needed to reproduce the problem; remove candidate data, credentials, and private document contents from screenshots or copied text.
Preserve unsaved work before refreshing a page. Check the latest visible status before repeating an action such as sending an invitation or making a payment. If the problem persists, use your company support channel or the support email on this page. The support assistant offers general guidance and cannot inspect your session or confirm a service outage.
